It's Been A While.....

The 2019 season is off to a bumpy start but we anticipate to finish the season strong! In the history of OKA we have never had to cancel a event, well that changed when we had to cancel the OKA Duncan Roadrunner due to weather issues. The board members have decided to reschedule the event for June 29, 2019. So don't make any plans other than heading south to Duncan for this event.

Both Konawa and Eucha/Spavinaw Events went well and produced nice results. A huge thank you goes out to Cazadorez Mexican Food in Seminole and Bradford's BBQ in Spavinaw for allowing OKA to host our post tournament activities at your establishments. Both businesses offered great service and food.

The 2019 OKA AOY Standings have been posted to the OKA Facebook Page, we will continue to update the standings following each event and post them to both the Facebook page and website. If you see that there needs to be any corrections made please contact a board member with the changes that need to be made.

The OKA Arbuckle event is still scheduled to take place this Saturday on May 18, 2019. Lake levels are high at the moment and should continue to lower as lake officials are releasing water. Rain is expected late Friday evening into Saturday, hopefully it can hold off so that those who participated in the event last year can get redemption. If we see that the lake level is unsafe or weather issues are a concern we will postpone the event for another date. If we make the decision to cancel the event a board member will go live via the OKA Facebook page to the announcement, for those who registered for the event will have the option to receive a coupon code for another OKA Event or a refund. The OKA Arbuckle weigh in will take place at The Red Bandana following the event.
